| | Before I got my standing chair, I really had to strain to have a bowel movement . . . but not anymore since I've been standing throughout the day.
Love you all.

| | After standing and dealing with the world at my 6'2" EYE LEVEL, I wouldn't go back to my first chair for a "million bucks"...no matter how light it is!

| | I am a Doctor of Nuclear Medicine and over the last twelve years, I have owned three (3) of the MOST expensive wheelchairs in the world! But the chair I use today (and everyday) for the last three years is the Half-Power Superstand... at a fraction of the price!
I like the concept of power mobility while still getting exercise by manually standing.
Also, I love being able to stand very quickly vs. a slow rising electronic system.
I unreservedly endorse your chair.

| | I don't get it!
Why would I pay $18,000 to tilt or recline when I could stand up for less money?
I want to deal with the world upright ... not just be looking at the ceiling.
This is what I should have gotten right out of rehab.

| | Once I thought about it . . . the answer was obvious.
My therapist was pushing me to get a standard lite weight chair. She said it would be better for sports, getting in and out of my car, etc. etc.
BUT that would NOT help with getting a job. So my dad said "Get the standing chair".
He reasoned that "if I can stand up" I would probably get my old job back . . . and if I did go back to work ... then I could BUY a lite weight chair myself (without the insurance).
Now I'm working and with MY own paychecks I bought a sport chair and the truck I had been looking at. I've the best of both worlds today.

| | After sitting in a standard wheelchair for two years ... standing was like heaven.
It was overwhelmingly relieving. I cannot even describe the ecstasy of standing.
I could actually feel the circulation and reduction of swelling in my lower limbs.
Glad your company has made what seemed impossible ...to be possible.

| | I've had my chair for over a year and don't know how I got by without it.
O.K. so I go into a restaurant and ask the hostess if we can sit in the bar at one of the taller tables. She gives me a funny look. By the time she returns with our orders I am now standing 6'2" and she almost loses her whole drink tray in front of everybody.
This chair is a great complement to my workout routine. I am getting stronger every day and will use this until the day I don't need it anymore.
Keep up the good work. I love you guys!

| | Since Samantha received her standing wheelchair two years ago, she has become so much more independent.
She now can brush teeth at the sink, loves doing dishes, can get her own drink from the fridge and shoot her rifle with her dad, etc. The Standing Wheelchair has helped our daughter in so many different ways.
We had the opportunity to spend a few days at The Standing Company in Saginaw. The folks there are awesome!!!
Thanks for making Samantha more independent and confident in herself.

| | Me and my red wagon I built.
I did it all alone including the staining. My standing chair came in real handy to reach the top heights. I could not have done this job (or the many other jobs over the last six (6) years around the farm) without it.
In addition I like pulling those slot machine levers at the local casino ... standing up.
What a good company and staff you have. We enjoyed coming there.

| | My son, Mike, suffers from Friedriche's Ataxia and is in a wheelchair full time. He likes lifting weights and keeping in shape, but he always had a problem with poor circulation and cold feet.
Mike's standing chair has helped much with better circulation over the last three (3) years. His feet never looked or felt better.
We will be getting another standing chair soon for Mike's sister, Nissa. Thank you so much.

| | Prior to getting my standing chair four years ago, I had four (4) skin flap surgeries (laid up for up to 6 months at a time). Since then, I have had NO skin problems.
I'm a believer. Standing really works.

| | This is exactly what I had been wanting ... and didn't even realize it!
It has helped change my life. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and have a full time job. At 27 I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.
Now I can stand anytime I want during the day and it helps my circulation and blood flow.
I can reach things and am able to remain home alone during the day without fear of losing my balance and falling.
The chair for me is fun.

| | The Superstand Wheelchair offered our son the chance to go forward with his life, to be able to do more of the things he enjoyed and cared about.
During the last three (3) years Jack has had the opportunity to be self-sufficient and healthier by standing.
Susan M. (mother) Dx: SCI, T-4 Columbia City, IN |
| | I wanted to thank you for the chair. I have enjoyed being able to stand up and be six feet tall again.
The opinion around the engineering department at Purdue is amazement. It's really neat watching my professors' faces drop when they realize how tall I am.
Bill C. Dx: SCI, T-7 West Lafayette, IN |
| | For the first 22 years after my injury (T-1), I used a traditional manual wheelchair . . . and I used to get urinary tract infections (UTIs) all the time.
During almost every one of those 22 years, I was in the hospital at least once for a UTI (not exactly every year, but most years).
However, after I received my standing wheelchair 8 years ago, I have not had one UTI. NONE!
Not only did I eliminate the UTIs, but I was able to go off Baclofen within the first 18 months.
Better health is terrific . . . but what I like the most is that I am far more independent. When I stand, I can do more things for myself.
